Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.
The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

Now this time, Costco guy called CS and later told me I could open another account with Tmo, but $75/mo for the plan.
I said no of course... I can just cancel 2 lines and come back 3 months later, but I will miss all the BF deals..
I have 8 lines, paying $160 a month, getting Magenta plan will double my bill to approximately $300/month.

Another issue I have seen at last year promotion is the t-mobile kiosk rep had a typo when entering in the system which screwed it up.
For those who need to open new accounts, the cheapest way is to open 3-4 new lines with $125 Boyd Costco cash card. That should pay for 3 months service. Additional lines will be $20 per month.

Mine started with 2.5gb per line several years ago.
Recently they updated my lines to 4gb.
As of late, SOME users have been upgraded to Unlimited data free of charge. None of mine are unlimited.
