2. How to Redeem Your Offer

2. Trade-in an eligible device.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

I like to get the phone, open line, pay for one or two day on plan line, close the line, and get the phone unlocked.

The amount for bill credit totally depends on the device you trade in along with the gb size.
Lowest I have seen is $36 for an iPhone 6s 32gb.
The remainder balance will be in the prepaid card.
