Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.
The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

is it easier to call and cancel or to port out? is there a preference for some benefit I dont see later?
I want to be able to take other T-mo promos later, so I will need to reactivate any lines inactive less than 90 days.
what if my account is inactivate longer than 90 days? do I still need to reactivate all 4 lines?

well, there is no clear answer to this.
You will not be eligible for promos if you canceled within 90 days. You have to bring those lines back up in order to get MORE lines.
Here's the part where some are getting lucked out on...Some previous users tried doing this deal and had already passed the 90 day mark, the Costco rep made a new 'rule' saying it had to be 6 months. I think I read that one even denied any service to that customer.
Be aware...costco can scan your card and see EVERY single transaction that you have done at the wireless kiosk. One rep did it to me when I did the XR deal.

I did this deal 5 times with the 'free' XR promo several months back.

It should if it has all the Bands that sprint uses.
The math all depends on the rate plan that you get.
It's not that great of a deal for simply one line.
Say you open up a 55+ line with 2 lines, $55x3 months. Sell one of the iPhone 11's to offset the fees for your device.
I myself have an account with simple choice. Haven't tried. Trying to use a friend's account but there is a balance due
