2. How to Redeem Your Offer

2. Trade-in an eligible device.
3. Go to http://www.T-Mobile.com/Promotions within 30 days from date of device purchase.
4. Enter all required fields AND:

5. Upload a copy of your purchase receipt (for Costco Warehouse customers)

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

I feel the catch here is this virtual card, where it have just 6 months of validity and high chance that we might not use the full value of the card, if we`re not a online shoppy savy person.

BTW, if you only have a single line, Essential ($60/month) is not a bad option as well since I just realize Magenta need 2+line to get Netflix and I only have a single line...still persuading my family and friends to join me so I can have netflix for 3 months
