Yes, after the Costco associate takes out the phone, grab it and run out the store with it. If you are fast enough, this will work...

Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.

It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.

Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!

Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!

Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!

And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.

I picked up a 64 GB 11 at the Costco in Myrtle Beach. No problems at all. They didn't say anything about a shortage of stock.

I went to Costco to get this deal. I needed to open a new T-Mobile account since I'm not a Tom customer and don't want to port my number. When Costco sales guy called T-Mobile, he was told that I need to fax the frontal and back of my ssn card and driver license.

Is that normal that T-Mobile needs actual ssn card copy to open account instead of just the number?

Thanks!

Quick question, did this and rep entered wrong imei for phone. It's the same exact phone model. Label printed out with wrong imei and rep at Costco said it shouldn't matter and he can't change it. Will this be a problem when it comes to the rebate? If so any way to fix?

I don't understand what you are trying to do. If you want bill credits, have them order the phone and pay full price. If you want the cheaper price, buy the phone on the spot.

So you already have a tmobile account? And that tmobile account has the same SS as the one you were trying to use today to open another one?

The storage/color shouldn't matter. The imei is the main important thing

Just an FYI, I was speaking to Tforce on twitter (about something unrelated) and mentioned possibly doing this deal (I didn't mention Costco, just the deal in general). She said there is no expiration date as of yet, so I would assume this is going to be longer than just this week, as some have mentioned

To be clear:
Phone in stock = pay full price and get lump sum rebate
Phone not in stock = order phone, pay on installment plan, get rebate as bill credits for 24 months.

When you are signing up at the Cosco kiosk, the agent that is helping you logs in to the system and they enter everything from there. They don't contact T-Mo and do it over the phone.

You can request kindly that you'd like to enter in their system yourself for security reasons. They don't need to know anything. The credit system will automatically check your name, address, SSN, etc to verify your credit rating. If your tell them the incorrect SSN, you will not qualify as it will come out as invalid.

If you are not comfortable working with that agent, go to another Costco of come and deal with a different agent.

Yes it's quite possible they will extend. They've done so plenty of times on similar deals in the past.

We will find out after the currently published expiration date. Look on Friday morning 11/8

you can go back to same costco to reprint the label with corect info or handrwrite the correct/missing IMEI digits. it should be OK, all they care in make and model to correctly assess the trade in credit.
