Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.
The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

Thank you!!
Will Costco take this?
to give u an example
- 10 USD Family stateside international calling at account level- which is billed 15 USD add on per line in newer plans--so
- every new line is just 10 USD
- 10 USD north america feature to call from Canada and Mexico
- a lot of free music/video apps dont count towards your data limits
- also 2-3 free tablet/voice/sync up lines of 6GB from promos back in 2015-2016
- also recently lot of simple choice(6gb or higher) folks are being promoted to unlimited data at no additional cost.
- for simple choice folks unlimited data is NICE to have but not needed/worth it when u see the bill getting doubled-trippled depending on how many unCarrier promos some one has availed...I dont recall any month when I crossed 2gb in my 4 gb limit when most of time I am in wifi zone.
simple choice folks since 2014-2015 are paying just about 150-160 for 5 voice +3 free tablet/sync up with 20 gb data stash+ north america feature+ family stateside international calling with corp discount ---if you try to get all these now, you might end up almost 2.5 times if not three times. so that's almost 2k a year past and future savings...thats just example with 5 voice line, more line u have in group more u save.
I have T-Mobile One plan for my family of 8 lines out of which 2 lines are free ("Add 2 lines and get 3rd line free" and then "add one get one") so I pay only $200 precise including taxes with everything unlimited + free Netflix!
I don't understand how you are saving "thousands" compared to me...lol

Just did the deal in Costco, and the total price after 6S trade-in and 3 months w/ T-Mobile will come out to an effective cost of $219 for the phone. Truly amazing.
I will say though when I asked the Kiosk agent to confirm that I can cancel in 3 months if I want to, he said it was 6 months and anything before 6 months T-Mobile can try and get money back. I asked him to confirm this, and where that was in writing and he said it's not in writing nor is the 3 months. He then tried to tell me to go to another store because I was going to cancel the service, and that I was "stealing" from his company. Politely told him that was nonsense and the deal terms are the deal terms, and he eventually proceeded forward.
So fair warning, apparently some of the folks working there are against this offer and might give you some grief.
