Unlock mobile is by request after 40 days. I had one trade in today but I went ahead and did two new lines and two trade ins. The rep said I have 30 days to come up with a second phone for trade in, so it was best if you squeezed it in today. I have two weeks to find another 6s.

Craigslist. I haggled down to $100 a lot of people want $150+. Even resellers are aware of the trade in and holding firm at $130. If it gets extended I'd just buy from one of the prepaid vendors.
Wow. I must be lucky to have paid 90 dollars for mine

Not sure. Best option would be to contact t force and see if they can move you to another plan, while keeping all the discounts. If you want to let me know what plan you have , i might be able to tell you what you can keep

I had 7 lines, and added 8th line 2 days ago, and the 9th line today. Sales rep just had to add line from their computer.
My situation may differ though. I had 9 lines before they changed the plans to Magenta. 6 months ago, I cancelled line 8th and 9th, but my Bill never changed. So basically, I was paying 9 line rate for only 7 lines these past 6 months.

I have kickback on first 5 lines. 6th was free line. 7th and 8th was added this week for this promo. Trying to get one more line but the system wouldn't allow.

Its because you need to switch plans. So the only way to save kickback and free line is to contact t force. Not sure what will happen once you cancel the 7th and 8th line, it might revert you back to the 8 line plan, but doing this at costco and they will mess up something for sure. All t force.

I just bought 3 new phones & activated them at costco. Rep was nice but could only print "TM Costco 2019 iphone Activation Trade save program". I have the 2 pages of this for each phone. I do not have any of the other Assurant pages/shipping label. He told me to come back tomorrow when a more experienced rep could help. Any advice on how to tell them to print them out? Also, each form I did receive has a different "control" number on it. Are those numbers specific to each phone? He did not put the phone numbers or IMEI on any of them. Thanks!!

Today I purchased 3 iphone and got 3 labels printed out. I notice that the each label doesn't state any phone number, that means it doesn't link the trade in phone's IEMI to any of my wireless phone numbers. is it the trade in phone's IMEI all they care about? Also is it how it works - if I open 3 new lines, then I will have up to 3 phone to trade in for rebates, I just need to send them in without knowing which iphone 6s is for which line?

40-days unlock question:

I got an iPhone 11 via this offer. I do not plan to use the phone (to be gifted) but i need the line itself for my personal use. If i turn the new phone on today and do some tmobile usage (calls, text) etc, then transfer the sim to the phone that I'll be using the line with, will still that satisfy the unlock requirement after 40 days? Or do i need to keep the iphone 11 with the line for 40 days?

Just received 2 iPhone 6s I bought. No time for trade-in.

I examined the phones. 1 has quite a few small scratches on screen. Even it does not look good. I guess it probably shall be ok for trade-in. The other one has 2 long scratches. Cross the screen from left to right. The scratches are light at one end but slightly deeper in the other end. I am concerned that the 2nd will be accepted or not.

Anyone has experience with trading phones with scratches?
Do you really wanna risk it based on what some anonymous person on the Internet says happened to their friend's ex girlfriend's step-sister's niece's neighbor's brother-in-law? Smilie
