The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

1. I am going port my number & get this phone. I want to gift this phone to my parents. After porting and getting the phone, i want to put the TMobile sim in new iPhone for 2 days, get it activated, and then remove my sim from it and then gift the phone without sim in it?? In short, i want to use my Tmobile sim in a different device other than the iPhone after activation is completed..
Will i face any issue in getting the $580 if i dont continue using the sim until i get the rebate?? Is there any minimum amount of period that i should be continue using the sim before i can remove it from the mobile.. I cant risk the $580 i am supposed to get.. iPhone 6s for 25$. But you need to get the 50$ plan and a 25$ activation fee. Total comes out to ~ 112$ with taxes for a brand new iPhone 6s. You also have to port-in a number.
PS: You can get one off of ebay. I actually bought 3 ATT numbers. Used only 1 for my use. I have 2 and willing to sell each for 3$ Amazon GC. Let me know if anyone's interested
