Yes, after the Costco associate takes out the phone, grab it and run out the store with it. If you are fast enough, this will work...

Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.

It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.

Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!

Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!

Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!

And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.

Factory reset removes all our personal stuff. So - it would be a good idea.

Any recommend place or website to get iphone 6s? Worried it will not arrived by 11/14. I am located in Calif. I see people posted Boost Mobile and that required port-in and activation and probably not best option. Thanks.

So - nobody went into Costco today to see if they were matching or countering the SAM one day deals?

not all costco reps are knowledgeable and they do mess up the process... Call 611 and explain them the situation.. they will connect you to rebate processing who will then send you a shipping label.. been there done that... no need to panic...
Will 611 be able to initiate an Assurant shipping label for this promo? I wanted to make sure that going through T-Mobile wouldn't result in 24 months of bill credits before calling them.

I had a Costco rep that assumed he knew everything about this promo, was incessant that the label was available on the T-mobile website, and refused to go back after the fact and try to initiate the trade in label because he was too busy. Even calling Wireless Advocates confirmed the label needed to be printed in store and to tell the rep that he could call their support to walk him through how to do it, but again he completely refused -- I don't know if he thought of it as an insult or what.

Either way, I saw where someone said they were able to receive a label through Wireless Advocates email support after the fact, so I gave that a try and that rep's response was that "this promo's trade in is being handled by T-Mobile so fill the rebate online and it will print out a label for you" -- reading everything here and having done this during last year's promo, I'm 99% sure this is not the case. I responded to that email and asked for it to be escalated since this is conflicting information between their own support reps.

I'm worried that anything done through T-mobile will result in the bill credits instead of the prepaid card, so if there is direct evidence to the contrary, I'd much rather go that route.

Can someone clarify the trade in step? Do we need to have a trade in phone by 11/14 or do we have 30 days to send in trade in after activating new line? Is the actual trade in done at Costco store or do we send in our trade ins? So can we take advantage of this deal by 11/14, but can trade in phone up to 30 days later?

You have to have the IMEI and details of the phone to present when you purchase at Costco. You need to complete the rebate activation step and ship the phone within 30 days of your purchase day.

I wonder the same. This should be still active.
