Well, that's kind of good. It means you will get the full $580 on the rebate card. But it's a bit strange since most have been getting at minimum $31 for a 6s.
Did you check to see if you clicked on the questions?
Maybe he accidentally answered one wrong.
I also though it is strange. I am worried. He seemed to answer everything correctly and he asked me which provider. I said directly from Apple. May be I should have told him sprint or something like that. I will look through the paperwork tonight. He printed me everything to mail etc. should I call t mobile and ask them about this? I am being honest here. If it was not for the $580 I would not have done this at all. My daughter had a perfectly working 6s. I upgraded only because of the deal. I also need to get off t mobile in about 2 months. Hopefully I will get my $580 and have the phone unlocked. He said it takes 8 weeks to request an unlock.

You don't need them. Just the phone is what they want.

Another thing that wasn't clear is if it is required to Port my number. I have an old iPhone that doesn't have a number.

I traded in an iPhone 6s and it showed $0 trade in value. Curious if anyone else saw that. I was assured I will get $580 back. They asked me what provider and I said I got the phone directly from Apple. He put the phone as iPhone 6s generic. Hope that is still acceptable. All paperwork is done and he printed out everything for me.

I got the iPhone 11 Pro for $900 btw.
That is what mine said last year too. After I sent it in though I got a text and they said after checking the phone I would receive $60.

You do not need to port. Hence why 80% of the folks in this thread are buying used 6S to trade in. The trade in company just want a working phone. End of story. Please use the thread search function...it'll come in handy down the road.

Thanks. I tried looking for the search thread feature but couldn't find it on my Android SD app. Not sure if the iOS app has that feature.

Help. Currently have T-Mobile ONE All-In Promo at 2 lines for $100.

Can I add lines to this plan or do I have to change plan to Magenta?

If I can add lines, what should cost be for lines 3 and 4?

Thank you!

I traded 6S TW good condition and got $0. Rep put it T-mobile first and came up with $36 or so, but i mentioned it is still locked with TW. We looked at other options in the dropdown and then he selected generic. It came up $0 then.
I did not mind that.

T-Mobile One can only have upto 8 lines. You can no longer move up to One+ to go for 9-12 lines with $30/month. Instead, they will move you to Magenta+.
Really? the One Plus for 9-12 lines is not an options any more? Where did you hear this? I am bummed because I already have 8 lines on my One plan.
