Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.
The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

there was an issue with the device number so they are saying they assessed the value at warehouse to be lower than i have been given at costco.. during the purchase..
call tmobile and check with them.. if its been sitting more than a week and no account credit received.
the rep's can see the phone and the phone condition in their systems etc once recd in york PA address.(warehouse).
so it might take 2-3 days to resolve the issue in my case.
So I went in yesterday for this deal. The rep tells me I don't need to add a line as my line is upgrade eligible. BUT he said, if I add a line I'd qualify for some extra $125 promo that they don't normally allow but he'd try double dipping. I replied I don't want extra line if i don't have to. I get all the paperwork from the OP's thread.
At first I start to panic as it says Accepted offer value $131 for my IPhone 8 64GB I plan to send it to them. Then I realized they did same thing for an IPhone during Samsung S10e where I received $40 but received it on the bill and rest of the amount on a gift card. I filled out the rebate and its says pending which is probably because they haven't received my phone yet, which I still haven't mailed.
I called T-Mobile promotions dept and the lady said the COSTCO promo says add a line and she doesn't see extra line added. She also said my offer might get rejected but told me to wait and call again until my offer shows and rebate tracking number shows up on their end which it didn't because rep said I just filed yesterday.
I am so confused on whether I should proceed further or just return the phone and play it safe. Don't want to get screwed by only getting $131 for my IPhone 8.
I called Costco and luckily it was the same guy singing a different tune that it depends on what model, memory size and condition the phone is and its not a guarantee of $580 but rebate form clearly says "All variants and sizes" accepted. Sorry for a lengthy post. Hoping someone could chime in

I sent in 4 devices at the same time. Tracking info says they were all received at the same time/day. I only received credit for 3 devices last Thursday. The T-Mo rep says he does see the receipt of delivery and scanned in, but cant see any other activity for the 4th device.
I am sitting in limbo still waiting for them to process forward with the 4th device. It's been 6 days now since the others were processed.
The T-Mo rep said it could take up to 3 months, but assured me they would take care of it if nothing further happens... I don't want to wait for that to happen as I want my gift cards sooner.

When u go to boost, tell them this is ur ATT number and u wanna port in for the 25$ iphone 6s deal. They'll ask u the ATT phone number, acc and pin. You give the details of the port in number you purchased from Ebay. They'll port in that number to boost. Simple!
I don't know if they restock every morning but the biggest/most popular Costco in my area received a shipment the morning I came in for two devices. They had over 50 iphone 11s that morning. I would check around the other Costcos - the costco online chat can help you check stock or you can try calling the Costco before you go.
1. the rep said I need to stay with t-mobile for 6 months, otherwise they would ask the rebate back. all the people here said 3 months, so is it 3 or 6 months I need to stay with t-mobile to keep the rebate?
2. now all the sim cards are inside the phone in the box, does that mean there is no way I can sell the phone sealed in the box? and the rep said I need to activate the phone and the sim card, if I don't I might lost the promotion.
so how can I use the sim on my spare phone and sell the iphone 11 as NEW?
