The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

Just received an email and text that the credit in the amount of $31 was applied to my account.
The employee says today is the last day.
I just called a local Costco and asked about this deal. The rep said that that specific store didn't carry T-Mobile iPhones and as a result, the phone would have to be shipped to me and would NOT qualify for the one-time credit, but would instead be amortized over 24 months.
Has anyone had any experience with this?
Edit: Skimmed through the thread and was able to confirm what I was told. The store must have the phone in stock. If not, they can order it but the rebate is spread out over 24 months AND you may not get the $50 device discount.

there was an issue with the device number so they are saying they assessed the value at warehouse to be lower than i have been given at costco.. during the purchase..
call tmobile and check with them.. if its been sitting more than a week and no account credit received.
the rep's can see the phone and the phone condition in their systems etc once recd in york PA address.(warehouse).
so it might take 2-3 days to resolve the issue in my case.

my iphone 8 was orig assessed for $155 account credit and there was no credit for about a week..
after calling tmo several times they credited me $131...
they said wrong device entered into their system by costco rep.
just go to a mobile repair shop and get the screen replaced for like $30!
