Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.
The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.
It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.
Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!
Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!
Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!
And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

I havne't heard this through anyone else....was this guy just lying to me? Or do we have to keep the lines open 6 months or risk losing the rebate?
I was basically opening another line and going to cancel it as soon as the rebate came, figured it was worth the sunk cost of a line relative to the big rebate $.
Thanks for any help - will look to see if I can still do this deal as the guy said it was extended to Nov 19.
Next time, get some info here before you venture out. This issue has been brought up at least 10-15 times just on this thread alone, not to mention it gets brought up on pretty much every single Costco T-mobile deal.
The combined knowledge of 100's of people here definitely beats those rookie salespeople at the kiosk who will be gone by the time the next promo comes up.
My att iphone 6s stil has not been paid off yet. Coscto customer check didn't say anything. I will keep the att line anyway because it is still under the monthly credit. Should I paid it off before shipping?

We are eligible for like 12 lines based on the credit check, so do we just go back to costco and start all over with another line? Is this how it was done in previous years?
