Absolutely OK to add more people. Just don't change the plan type to a non-qualifying plan, but any Magenta or essentials plan will work.
Thanks! Also I submitted the rebate form yesterday but will be sending the phone out today via the prepaid shipping label. Both within 3 days of buying the phone. That will not be an issue right? Also would know if I can get the phone unlocked as I will be travelling outside of USA around Christmas or I am kinda stuck for 3 months? Would I mess something up if I get it unlocked for my trip?

Has anyone had any luck with a slight crack on the corner front glass (technically not screen) being accepted for the trade in?
Do you *really* want to risk your rebate on the basis of an unverifiable claim made by anonymous internet stranger?

I plan to trade two iPhone 6s units today for iPhone 11 basic models by adding two new lines. A family member's iPhone 8 is acting wonky and I'll wait til next year to flip it. Can I exchange the family member's sim into the new phone immediately without impacting the rebate card promotion, or is it best to leave the new line numbered sim in it until the rebate card arrives?
there is an iPhone 8 recall, see if you are eligible.

Long story short, Costco Wireless does have some idiots. Ironically, this guy also happens to be the manager. This is after FIVE trips to the THREE trips to the store, and now I will have to go back for a new sim card because T-Mobile will mail me and it takes about a week and might get charged for it. This has definitely been very stressful, and raised my blood pressure. I am already filing complaint with Costco, Wireless Advocates, and T-Mobile. This shouldn't be this difficult.
sucks that you went through all that.
I am under the impression that you knew how this deal goes since you questioned the rep about adding a line.
You should have walked away and tried at a different time with a different rep or just went to another store.

I tried doing the deal at a store that was packed one day and there was a new employee working. She was being trained and just my luck, she was assigned to me.
Once I noticed she wasn't doing things correctly (I previously did the 'free' iPhone XR deal several times at Costco) I simply said, "I'm so sorry but I have to go". And I left.

There was no way I was risking such a big rebate.

Late to this forum. Quick questions:

1. Do you must do this deal at physical Costco? Can it be done via website?

2. Do you must have Costco membership to do this deal?

Thank you so much!

Thank you. Would you mind helping? I just wanted to determine whether there is a remote chance to get this deal, as I don't have a Costco locally. Thx!

Am I missing something? Im currently a Verizon prepaid ($35/month) customer with an iPhone 6s that I currently own. I want the iPhone 11 128gb that costs $700. With $580 off, that leaves it at a net cost of $120.

Even taking into account that I'd have to switch to T-Mobile for two months and pay $60/month, that's only an extra $50 in total compared to what I'd be paying anyways for service. Leaving me with the cost of $170 total for a brand new iPhone 11.

What am I missing? This seems to be too good to be true for my 6s!
Yes . That's what it would cost ! A similar calculation is posted at beginning of thread for reference

Damn... this is real bad luck bro...!!!
Some reps are just bad, yours is one of those...!!!
Don't forget to give the real feedback to the survey you receive form them!!!
FYI, even for me it wasn't 100% smooth!
The Costco lady selected "iPhone 6s Plus" as my trade-in phone and so the RMA receipt said the trade-in fair price is $50 (instead of $31).
When I realized it after coming home, I was mad I had to go again, but I did go back just to get this fixed and generate the correct RMA receipt (with the new shipping label).
same with the 6s plus vs 6s. but i just sent it anyway: rhey applied the correct value (31)
