Yes, after the Costco associate takes out the phone, grab it and run out the store with it. If you are fast enough, this will work...

Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.

It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.

Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!

Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!

Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!

And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.
iPhone 8 through Apple gets you $220
iPhone XS through Apple gets you $500

iPhone 8 through this Costco deal gets you $580
iPhone XS through this Costco deal gets you $580

Wiki says, How to Redeem Your Offer
1. To receive this offer, you must buy a new Apple iPHone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, XR, XS, XS Max and use the device on your new line of T-Mobile service.

Title and website says 11, XR, XS...

Can someone confirm if we can buy 11 pro or 11 pro Max and get this offer?

I'm hoping at least that Costco does a rebate version of the T-Mobile iPhone 8 trade promo. I have an SE that I'd be happy to trade for an 8 and not via bill credits for 2 years like through T-Mobile.
Does Costco even stock the iPhone 8 anymore? I was hoping for that same deal but pretty sure they cleared them out a while back.

I was told the same at my local Costco regarding the 2 year contract....I've been trying to ask here, but haven't got any feedback thus far - if I'm not with t-mobile right now, will I be able to terminate the line after I receive the rebate??
Yes. That is why this deal is so popular. You are free to move the line or cancel once you have rebate and have fulfilled the requirement to unlock the phone. I think line has to be active for some time to unlock(40 days i think)

You can buy a Boost Mobile 6s 16GB for $109 + tax online, but there's also an in-store deal for a Boost Mobile 6s ($25) + plan ($50) + tax and fees.
From past experience they will probably add tax on original price so that might be around $40. Probably end up costing about same.

Please google this one. It will probably work but only pick up LTE signal and not 3G which is shutting down on VZ anyways.

I was able to get a new label from Costco. New label shows new RMA#. My previous trade in device had a different RMA#. Is this normal ? Should I submit my rebate again ?
you only submit rebate one time and new RMA belongs to latest trade in device that you got the label for. old RMA will lapse in 30 days any way and you'll get the device credit against latest RMA and then you're bigger rebate once you get the device credit text

Did you get that online or in store? My guess online as in story they will probably want you to select a plan.
Online, didn't ask to select a plan only shows phone will arrive in 3-4 days.

I sent my iphone 6S to Assurant using the shipping label supplied by T-mobile. I dropped the package in a USPS mailbox. It has been one week. The tracking information is still not available on the USPS website. Is it possible the package is lost or stolen by USPS employee? If that is the case, what should I do??

I submitted my rebate on the t-mobile promotions web site last night. This morning I checked the rebate status and it says denied due to "ineligible device on receipt," which is b.s. because my Costco receipt shows that I purchased an iPhone 11. I called up the promotions department and the guy said the receipt looks good but they can't override the status until 30 days after the promotion has started. It started on 11/1 so I should call back on 12/1. Anyone else run into this problem?
I ran into the problem as well. I bought 3 iPhone, one 11 pro and 2 11 purple. One was accepted ( the pro) while the 2 11 purple was denied. Call the promotion phone line and they told me the recipe look good and call back early December. The T-Mobile rep told me everything look good and they should be able to manually process the rebate in early December.

Sorry didnt ready 219 pages ...

a) what is membership wireless
b) what is difference between this deal and the one at tmobile store?

I am with ATT but would like to change to Tmobile for unlimited data
A: membership wireless is inside Costco ( you need Costco membership to get in). Keep in mind that membership wireless don't work for Costco. You buy the phone in full price from Costco and activate with them.
B. This deal with Costco is a full rebate up to $580 one time in Mastercard prepaid gift card vs T-Mobile deal is monthly credit spread over 24 months so you would need to stay with T-Mobile for 24 months. With Costco deal, you can cancel after you get your up to $580 rebate prepaid card

Is it possible and does it make sense to buy USPS insurance when shipping the trade-in device? I see messages about some devices not making the destination. Hope the insurance covers lost shipments?

Can someone shed some light on my confusion. I tried to get the answer by reading the thread but couldn't get it. Why in the wiki calculation show $30 off from H2O ($70-$30). Doe this mean if I have sprint byod with $0 plan, I have to pay $70 for the Tmob?

Just means that instead of spending $30/month for his H2O plan, he now has to spend $70/month on T-Mobile, which is a $40/month increase to his out of pocket costs. So if you're spending $0/month on the Sprint free line promo, and you sign up for this deal on a single line plan, then you could be increasing your costs by $70/month, which factors into how much net you need to spend to take advantage of this promotion.
