Yes, after the Costco associate takes out the phone, grab it and run out the store with it. If you are fast enough, this will work...

Most of the questions asked here are either in the promotion posting, or are just stupid. Read before posting.

The document tells you which items will be accepted for trade. You can NOT do a IP6, or SE, or Samsung, etc.

It really does not matter how much they give you for the trade. The total rebate you will get will total $580.

Yes, this promotion is for people adding T-Mobile new lines. Duh! Think!

Simple math tells you that trading in an XS or XR is probably not going to make sense in most cases. So, if then don't. Duh!

Nobody has asked yet, but yes the phone must be paid for. And yes it must work. And yes it must not be broken. Duh!

And yes, you must have a Costco card to pay for the phone.

How much does ___ cost at Costco? Easy - go to the website. Prices are listed.

if you received at least 1 of your credits, the chances are high that the other credit(s) are on "hold" waiting for you to accept a different trade-in offer amount. usually due to an incorrect description of trade.

call T-Mo, they have a tool that they can look at the trade-in screen shots and inspection. if so, they will ask you verbally to accept the new offer amount.

this happened to me also. it took me 3 different calls to get a knowledgeable rep to tell me this and resolve it.
Thanks a lot. Will do this today.👍

The exactly same case happened with me too...!!!
BTW, if you don't respond to their email and accept the new offer amount, it will be auto- accepted anyway, but of course there will be some delay in this process so better to accept it ASAP !

I had to call too. I traded in 2 phones. For 1, it was lower value which I accepted. The second was marked as "blocked". The rep ran the IMEI through their system and couldnt see why it was blocked. She is going to call back this week. Hoping everything will work out.

Anyone else are having trouble to summit rebate at tmobile/promotion.com?

I cannot summit the rebate online because system said the imei number of the purchased phone is not valid. I bought a 11 pro black yesterday at costco.

The Tmobile rep at 877-470-3619 told me that a lot people are having this tech issue, she suggest i keep trying until there tech department fix it. She also suggest i should mail in the trade-in phone asap.
Got same error for space grey pro max just now. CS told me to wait 72 hours and try again.

Update: on my previous post in which the rep refused to process a return within the 90 day return period. I called the number the rep provided me, and of course the the same rep answered. They told me to call again tomorrow (which is what she had told me the day before) and her manager should be in, but that she had already talked to her manager and that they agreed there was nothing they could do and that I would have to try to get the refund through the carrier.

After bombarding wireless advocates twitter and any associated email I could find, I finally got a customer support number (1-888-369-5931). None of their sites or social media have a number or email of course. I explained the situation to the rep on the phone and they absolutely agreed that I was correct, but that could not handle the return over the phone/email. I would have to go to the kiosk to process the return. They suggested either trying another Costco or going to the same Costco and then having the rep call the 888 number and have them explain it to the rep over the phone.

Part of me wants to go to the same rep and rub it in their face. Part of me wants to just go to another Costco that will probably process the return no problem. I guess I'll decide based on how bad traffic is tomorrow.
Were you ever able to get them to accept the return?

Anyone tried exchanging the phone for a different color before doing the rebate ? Is there any harm in doing so for the rebate ?

We purchased on 11/14 and I still can't submit anything online. After calling CS I was told to keep trying periodically 😩. I shipped the phones last Friday.

I went back to the original Costco and had the kiosk rep talk to the Wireless Advocate customer support number. The WA rep said everything was fine and provided the steps for processing the return, which included needing proof that we had paid the phone off through the carrier. That took some time to gather all the info and then by the end of it the kiosk rep was saying that because we had paid off the phone through the carrier, that I would have to get my money back from them, and they could only refund the taxes that I paid up front at Costco. I argued how that obviously made no sense because the WA rep had just said on the phone that I needed proof of having paid the phone off through the carrier, but she still wouldn't budge.

I ended up going to another Costco. They called up the original store because they wanted us to do the return through them (when she later talked to the WA rep, she asked if doing the return at her store would hurt her numbers). When the new Costco rep talked to the original rep, she immediately changed her tune and said that she never denied the return, so obviously trying to cover her tracks so she wouldn't get in trouble. After all that and talking to WA again in the store so the associate could follow the correct procedure, I was able to return fairly easily. Still waiting on the check to come in the mail currently.

TLDR:
Yes, I was able to get Costco to process the return. I had to go to another store because the original kiosk rep absolutely refused to process it in the hopes that the 90 days would expire or I would give up and her numbers would not be hurt.

Shipped my 4th trade in last Monday arrived in PA on Wednesday but still in transit to next facility on USPS tracking website. Today received T-Mobile email says my account has been credited $59 for 6s plus 64gb. My other 3 trade in delivered nov 8 and 9 has no emails, iPhone 6s 32gb. I logged into my account and see a -$90 balance, $59 and $31 credit. Appears that one of the 6s got credit still waiting on the other two.

Does anyone know if I can add a promo Tmobile new line to my Tmobile Legacy Pay As You Go plan account? I have quite some credit balance on my PAYG-Legacy account and wondering if I could use some of them to pay the monthly bill for the new line?

I posted on the 700 promo thread but got no response. Hopefully some Tmobile experts here can help. TIA!

unlikely, there are only certain plans that qualify. costco rep has a printout that show which ones do
