Dell is having a limited sale on their monitors including the new Alienware AW3420DW for $1000 + Tax & free shipping. (Normal is $1,500 + Tax)

Native 120 Hz refresh rate and is 34 inch gaming monitor with the full colors brought by IPS Nano Color (98% DCI-P3) technology and a 2ms response time. Featuring a 1900R WQHD resolution and 21:9 display ratio.

Biggest differences between this model an the older AW3418DW is the native 120Hz refresh rather than 100Hz OC to 120Hz found on the old, 98% DCI-P3 color, 2ms response time rather than 4ms, and an updated stand.

This price is less than the comparable Freesync LG panel.

Edit: Here is how to get it for $900 Shipped

1) Sign up for email to get 10% coupon code (Email took me ~20 min to arrive)
Email-LINK [dell.com]

2) Go to members page for the monitor
Monitor-LINK [dell.com]

3) Add Monitor ($950) to cart and apply promo code from email to get the price down to $850. Expedited shipping will be free while Tax is ~$50

Thank you a bunch for this post! I've been eyeing on this monitor for some time now and many who opposed of buying this model is due to the cost.

I've bought one just now and confirmed it is $1k + tax, no shipping cost.

Thanks again!

Ya man, my pleasure! Congrats!

I was in the same boat, I knew what I wanted (this monitor) but that MSRP was killing me. I almost bought it 2 days ago but decided to wait for Black Friday just to be sure. Seeing how new it is, I wasn't sure... but saw this price this morning and had to pull the trigger.

Now to figure out how in the world I can get 120 frames to it. Trying to hold off for RTX 3000 series ...

I have two of the AW3418DW monitors that I paid less than 550 each for, and by far they have been my favorite gaming monitors.

Excited to see that there's an updated model of this with better specs, but will be holding out for them to drop more.

Good post OP.

BOUGHT THIS MONITOR THIS MORNING! I'm jumping out of my skin excited about upgrading this garbage 720p panel.I've been waiting so long (too long) to purchase an ultrawide. Almost bought the AW3418DW when it was $650 but so glad I waited.

Got this for an extra $50 off using "perksatwork" or "EPP"

Nice! Congrats man!

Jumping from a 720p ey? Wow, you will be stoked when you get it set up lol.

I moved from a 3440p ultra wide Dell u3415w ... I am stoked about the refresh rate and gsync.. no more screen tearing hopefully!

720p to this thing.. that's quite the jump, lol. I hope you have sufficient hardware to drive it (if you game)!

I'd like an ultrawide, but I feel like I've switched monitors every couple years and not gained much. Currently using a matched pair of Dell U2414H.. which apparently I bought over 4.5yrs ago
