Chase Slate is only 15 months but 0% balance transfer fee.

The slate itself sucks as a card to actually use for anything other than the BT, but if you're mainly concerned about the BT, and the 3 extra months won't kill you, it saves you 3% of however much you're transferring over this... plus once you're done with the BT you can product change it into a genuinely useful card like a Freedom or something.
After years of being on airline miles cards I switched to this card. I am very happy with it. Airline miles are worth an average of 1.3 cents per dollar spent these days. This card is worth 2 cents per dollar to me as a shopper. It takes VERY little effort to redeem the 2% cash back. I enjoy the value and simplicity of this card. I find the citi web site and mobile app to be stronger than alternative bank sites and apps. I don't have the time or desire to manage multiple cards.

Needed a balance transfer option for an outstanding balance on a CC. Any better options out there? Seems like 18 months and 3% is pretty much as good as it gets.

When I signed up for this card last month, I saw that going to the site directly gave me a 21 month offer, but with a 5% bt fee if I'm remembering correctly. May be the same for some, maybe better for others. Do the math I guess.

Another option is the Navy Federal Platinum card - I just got approved a couple weeks ago. The current offer is 12-months 0% interest on balance transfers with no transfer fee. Also, there is no annual fee and my interest rate is 14.37%. You may be able to do better on the APR if your FICO score is higher than mine - the rates range from 7.74%-18.0%.

Also wanted to add that when I have called customer service, the experience has always been excellent. I definitely can't say that about a few others.

Any offers out there that include some other benefit? Need a Balance Transfer but would like some sort of 0% APR deal or cash back after spending a certain amount.

Chase is far more conservative with their credit lines than Citi. You may get no fee with the Slate, but they might only give you a credit line on $5,000.

I cancelled this card, after they took away all their travel and price protections last month. They also push their new banking service heavily, so you'll get pop-up ads constantly, and a never-ending stream of junk mail pushing their savings account and sending you 'convenience' checks. There's also a minimum redemption for cash back, $25.

I switched to a 1.5% BECU cash back credit card, so I get their decent interest for savings and checking, and the convenience of paying off the card from the same banking app or website, as well as usual credit card protection that Citi eliminated. No spam, no ads, no huge multinational bank that was heavily involved in the subprime mortgage meltdown and received billions in bailout money.

Isn't that only for vets/service members?

I'm not a vet or service member. I actually opened a bank account on an invitation from a family member, who is also not a vet. No stolen valor here or anything like that - I don't think they require it, at least they didn't for me. That said, my father was a member (and retired military) and this invitation came from my sister. I have never been asked (as far as I can remember) about whether I was military or not. If I were asked, I would have said "NO". At the time, I only opened the account to help her out because they had some promo where she got $50.00 for the referral and I also got $50.00 for opening the account. I've never used the checking/savings accounts and only more recently opened credit cards with them.

Update: I checked and you are correct - you have to be a veteran, service member or have an immediate family member who is a member. I guess my path was via an immediate family member inviting me to join. Sorry, didn't realize they restricted it.

i automatically reject any transfer balance offer that contains a fee. it would have to be something like 60 months to get me to pay more than 2%.
