Depends which flashlight. There is the DCL040 which is 110lumen and 120degree pivot.
This is a more spread out area light, 500 and 250lumen settings and 140degree pivot.
Then there is a larger DCL043 which is 1000lumens and more of a spotlight to go further distances.
I haven't used the dcl044 but that one is magnetic, small, 360degree flexible, 160lumens meant for small spaces. Just depends on use case. I have the DCL050 listed here and love it.
