That is the costco way. Ask the front end supervisor at the podium by the registers and they will tell you when they will have more.
I cannot find this on the display but asked the supervisor and they have 30 in stock (29 after I bought mine)

well if you cant find one, resellers are starting to help you find one for a premium:

Only a novice would buy that original spec'd for $425.
I say $380 at most.
Even then, $80 max profit, but that is like selling at retail/on sale prices.
Not much of a money maker without adding the additional RAM and bigger SSD.

Picked up 2 today and so far have unboxed 1, which I am currently using. So far these first few hours have been a downright negative experience for me. This does not feel like a CPU that has benchmark speeds 3x faster than my 6 year old laptop and 1.5x faster than my 5 year old desktop. And this is the i5-1035G4. Switched to regular Win10 Home and it took several minutes to get the Chrome installer to install Chrome. It takes multiple seconds to even launch Chrome and there's a noticeable delay when trying to load webpages such as Amazon or Slickdeals. My older devices feel much snappier.

Is there a bottleneck occurring because of the 4GB RAM? Right now with 2 Chrome tabs open, I'm sitting between 70%-80% RAM utilized with Chrome showing up as #1 and nothing really unusual below it. Should I install a 16GB stick and see how it fares?

5gz or 2.4ghz Wifi network?

of course, i think the seller priced it expecting low ballers and hagglers which is expected on craigslist/offerup.

Got to follow the directions to get it updated and remove crapware. Then add 4GB. Will then have plenty of overhead and be snappy!

Just a tip for those struggling with switching from Windows Home S (especially after updating BIOS): type in wsreset.exe in your start menu and run it. This resets your Windows store cache, which might have gotten corrupted. Also, make sure the Windows store app itself is updated.

Resetting my windows installation didn't work for me but this did! Hopefully it helps some of you!

Depends if the lady at the return counter identifies that way.
Otherwise, you may have to wear tight tight short shorts to get her attention. hug

Hopefully they will still stock the i5 version. I already bought one but my wife decided to get one for her sister.

Yes Costco is truly sexist in their return practices. Men are often scolded about their returns at Costco. However, it is the wife on the same account that made them and the "return %" will not be acknowledged until the husband brings back another thing from electronics.

Same first time find a decent screen for a cheap price. Unlike those 720p screens!

What's wrong with barrel connectors? They're cheap, ubiquitous and industry standard. They're just about about the best solution out there. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
Ubiquitous? My three Lenovo laptops have had three different barrel connectors. USB C has been all the same, including on my phone. I can use my laptop charger on my phone, etc.
