I have two 12", and for movies and gaming they are incredible. For straight music listening they are good but nothing too impressive, my old jbl 10"s were better for that. That being said I would buy them over again in a heartbeat because of how good they sound in a 7.2 setup.

It depends on your standards. If you're just looking for some more bass for a basic pair of bookshelf speakers in a smallish room, it will do fine. If you've got a big room or are looking for something that will hit down to 20 hertz, no. You're not going to find many options for a $100 subwoofer. For the money it's a very good deal.

Got one. I've been rocking a klipsch promedia on my TV for a few months. I hope this is a worthy upgrade.

Question: should grab those Sony Cores that are half off? Or wait for some better. I'll be running them off a $300 onkyo receiver

I recommend getting two of these at this price. With the right placement, this will probably sound better than most things you can get for $200-300.

I have infinity for 4 of my speakers, but my sub is a Dayton 12" and I'm thrilled with it, and I'd do the same all over again. I'd encourage others to put another $50 with this price point and get a Dayton instead.

Bought the 12" a few months ago and love it. Wonder how it would pair with this 10".

Have you tested out an infinity sub in comparison?
