I have two 12", and for movies and gaming they are incredible. For straight music listening they are good but nothing too impressive, my old jbl 10"s were better for that. That being said I would buy them over again in a heartbeat because of how good they sound in a 7.2 setup.

It depends on your standards. If you're just looking for some more bass for a basic pair of bookshelf speakers in a smallish room, it will do fine. If you've got a big room or are looking for something that will hit down to 20 hertz, no. You're not going to find many options for a $100 subwoofer. For the money it's a very good deal.
I have infinity for 4 of my speakers, but my sub is a Dayton 12" and I'm thrilled with it, and I'd do the same all over again. I'd encourage others to put another $50 with this price point and get a Dayton instead.

Have you tested out an infinity sub in comparison?

Got one the last time it was on sale for $120 and realized I needed another but not before it sold out.

Question: should grab those Sony Cores that are half off? Or wait for some better. I'll be running them off a $300 onkyo receiver
