So theoretically, I could buy 2 samsung galaxy s10 phones, get 400 dollars on a target gift card for both of them (adding up to $800 total in target gift cards) and, if I open a new line, which I could cancel in 6 months, get one of those phones for free in bill credits over 24 months. If I needed a new line on my account and wanted to stay with verizon for the next 2 years and am okay with bill credits, this is a farking amazing deal.

i dont see the same promotion for ATT. Looks like only $500 with trade in and add a line, or $300 if upgrading an existing line. I do see the $400 though. Wait, that sounds like $700 off, that's actually pretty good right?

I got my 2 $400 gcs today but paid $800 off on phone 2 ... and so now I'm afraid I won't get $750 in credits...

I'm heading into Target again in a bit to try and do this with 2 of the 10 notes on ATT. I'd be porting 1 # and adding a new. From speaking to the rep I'd be getting 2 GCs for $400 each and then the $300 and $500 bill credits. Unlimited service for 2 phones on ATT is $70 a month. I'm an ATT customer with Directv already so I'd get another $10 off a month (most likely and possibly free HBO). These phones can also be used as hot spots so this deal seems awesome.

I've confirmed with a VZW rep that if you pay off a phone that is on the monthly payment plan, any subsequent promo credits are forfeited :-(

I just got back from Target. I got 2 S10s for $1800 - $750 BIC - $800 GC = $250.

Thanks! I went back today and got another line and canceled the initial new line. But I'm still waiting to see if I get the Bill credit. The people at Target can't tell me much of anything about it.
