you're talking about factory seconds... they have it in writing in their return policy, $25 charge for each pair of return for factory seconds.

discoloration and minor flaws are very normal for factory seconds as well

it's better to wait for a steep discount on Firsts than to go for Seconds right off the bat. I've gotten two pairs of Firsts at around $200-220 each.

Last pair of 1sts I got had qc issues. Their CS was a pain to deal with. I ended up returning them. They are living off their reputation.
