I wonder when people will stop treating 15 and 17" laptops equally.

If you meant better deal for just 1660Ti then sure, but not overall. Some people are specifically looking for 17" and not 15", got a better 17" deal than this right now? If not then, you need to do your research before posting

1660Ti laptops have been in lower price, not sure about this particular model

Solid deal.

If you can wait till blackfriday the same laptop with a 2060 will be only 100 more.

Terrific deal. One of the lowest MRPs I've seen for a 1660 Ti laptop, and definitely the lowest with these many great features crammed into it

Got this from Costco a month ago, only difference being that one had 256GB NVMe + 1TB HDD and plain red backlight. Very straightforward to open up for upgrading RAM and storage, although does take a bit of finesse and patience to pry off the bottom cover with a guitar pick without breaking any clips, after removing the exterior screws.

Errr, no.

Walmart has the y540 for only $990 with the same specs.

Rakuten had the G5 with the same specs for around $700 (after rakuten points)

Do your research first before posting stuff yo.

(Useful review of the laptop, albeit it was reviewed at a more expensive price tag

Yep sorry my memory was $1259 but I guess it was $1279. Still you're looking at a bump of roughly 15%-20% depending on the game compared to a 1660ti and GSync is worth its weight in gold.

+1 on the recommendation.

I recently grabbed the Y740 15" 2060/1TB SSD one for $1200 in a pre-BF deal (with 5% teacher discount). After 15% CB and tax, ~$1125. Amazing laptop with undervolting CPU and overclocking GPU. Battery life is bad but I've read you can put the 17" battery in the 15" if you don't mind losing the 2.5" bay.

For anyone else, 1660ti Y740's, at least on the 15", don't actually have G-sync despite very misleading claims, so recommended to avoid.
