this shed was 600 at lowes just last week and the regular list price at lowes is 900. wouldn't say this is a particularly good deal.

Except it wasn't. The one at Lowe's was a craftsman, that is a different style with less things. And it's also saying no longer sold at Lowe's, from that particular post, which likely means it was clearance. So, comparing is pretty moot.

If this is the same as the one on sale last week, I watched a YouTube video of two experienced guys take five hours to assemble this. While I'd love the storage that's basically impossible for me.

I purchased last time it was on sale in January for $799. It took me about 3.5 hours solo to put it together. Not to brag, just to show it wasn't that bad. That's also including literally 20 minutes where I spent taking a heat gun to the paper films that are placed over the plexiglass windows, because they were basically super stickers that didn't come off easily.
It could take 5 hours if you are building a custom pad I suppose. But you could make your pad one weekend and assemble this the next. Mine sat outside in the weather for a long time because it was winter when I had purchased.
