All electric space heaters are 100% efficient in that all the energy is converted to heat. Any electrical heater that operates at 600w puts out the same amount of heat. The only difference is how well that heat moves throughout the space. This can have an effect on comfort depending on your needs. Fans push the warm air through the room, and heaters without them rely on convection. .

I thought ~80% to 90% of the power that an incandescent light bulb uses is lost through heat rather than visible light. I could be wrong.

Does anyone know how this would compare to one of those cheapo fan forced heaters? Those are usually 1500w, but run at about 600w in one of the lower settings as well - assuming heat output will be similar?

Got two of these last time, I'm very impressed with the heat output from such a tiny 600W heater. So impressed I'm ordering 3 more for holiday gifts.

I have to agree. One of these in the middle of my master bathroom warmed the whole room evenly and fast!! I usually have a bigger tower heater in there and want to say this little guy did just as good!

They are tiny, around 7" x 4.5". They have a fan and blow the hot air up, so placing it on the floor a few feet away warms you up nicely.

Good if you're just staying in one room with the door closed and don't feel like paying to heat the whole house. This one looks pretty small though.

Got this little heater from the frontpage deal a few weeks ago. It is a bit small but outputs a decent amount of heat. Enough for me to use it in my office. No temp control but does have tip over protection which is very nice at this price point. Seems to be very well built.
