I love target but for groceries their prices are pretty steep, however I can see this being a great incentive for prepackaged food and beverages. But lately every time I walk into target the items I usually bought have gone up in price in store and if you pricematch they won't let you get the giftcard. They renovated our supertarget and now they have a even smaller section and selection for food and groceries. When I think of target I think about Tide, Bounty, Charmin & Clothing. They definitely win with household giftcard promotions and coupons. 😁

I agree, as much as I love going to target, their food section is small and over priced. Since nobody buying them, they often have coupon attached to the about-to-expired package, depending on which target, some of those are good deals if they're still fresh. Otherwise your cart will be dripping in meat juice and stanky meat.

They have pepsi 3 for $10.50 this week so on Saturday you could stock upon say 18 of the 12 packs for $63 and you should get three of the $5 Pepsi GC and the $10 over $50 GC.. $63 - $25 in GC or $38 for 9 cases of Pepsi ($2.12 or so ea..) after gift cards just in time for BF..

Target has better prices for butter and eggs in my area vs the local grocery stores. Other grocery items are hit and miss on quality or prices.

I have 3 large Targets within a 10 mile radius. Not sure they're called super targets but they have full grocery selections.l, including deli and bakery. They just remodeled all of them over the past 18 months. I don't live in the city or anything, just suburbs in Illinois.
