Samsung Galaxy S10e Unlocked New Open-Box $399

$399.00

DailySteals currently has a limited number of Galaxy S10e handsets on offer. They're advertised for $450, which is already $300 lower than the retail value.

Using the code AAGLXYSE at the checkout, you can pick one up for just $399.99.

These models are sold open-box as they're seven-day remorse returns. That means they've been sold by the carrier then returned, so they haven't required refurbishment and have no cosmetic damage. For all intents and purposes they're brand new.

The handsets are compatible with any GSM carrier and Verizon Wireless. If you have a CDMA carrier you'll need to have the phone unlocked.(Not sure what this means, from AndroidAuthority - https://www.androidauthority.com/...l-1055072/)

Anyone else have any experience buying these open box phones from Daily Steals?

I'm debating. Seems kind of sketchy.

I've had mixed experiences with DS. First order took almost 2 months to receive, even though I had paid for expedited shipping. Worst part was I never got any responses to my emails to customer service. This was probably 5+ years ago and it's obvious the company has grown up a lot since then. Second order was from a few months so. Got a great deal on medicated dog treats (hips and joint support). Retail value was $300, I paid $40. Treats were delivered in about a week, but I immediately noticed that the expiration date had just passed on all of them. To be fair, this was mentioned in small text, off to the side, on the product page. And my dog's still loved them....so I would probably reorder them again.

They are being sold as unlocked phones, so does that mean they'll work on Verizon after purchase?

They hit the Front Page often, but usually being sold on Rakuten as a third-party. I didn't buy any of the previous deals, but here are some threads you can check to see if anyone has said anything about them after making the purchase.

They do have good reviews though on many third party sites like https://www.trustpilot.com/review...steals.com, https://www.shopperapproved.com/reviews/DailySteals.com [shopperapproved.com], and https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/dailysteals.com [sitejabber.com]

Also, the phone goes for around $400 used on Swappa, so $400 open-box seems like a fair deal to me.

Caution.. Samsung firmwares recently locked people out of their phones and the only solution was to wipe the phone..may want to turn off auto updates until they fix that issue
That was beta firmware that did that and a patch was released

Samsung is increasingly restrictive with their updates and boot loader locking. I don't see myself getting another Samsung (S7 was quite frustrating).

If my Pixel 2 still wasn't working fine, I'd jump all over this.

If it doesn't work for sprint, CDMA carrier then it's not true unlocked?
