As far as I remember, it was usually 50% off of the last Galaxy S (it is currently $800 on their website). Isn't that right? It actually seems a good deal (compared to other BF deals for S10) if you are fine staying with Cricket.

Yes, you are right, they usually discount the phone 50%. I thought the current price was listed at $700, my mistake.

Is this for the S10 or S10e? I'd rather have the e with the flat screen personally.

Please edit title to have phone price in it and not just the plan price. Reads like the phone itself is $55.

Does anyone know if we can switch to a lower price plan the next month after signing up? Currently on Google Fi. Was thinking to switch over for 6 months till I get the phone unlocked.

rofl, I'm in the same boat. I wish they made the S10 or S10+ with a flat screen option.

Have been able to in the past. Usually it is the initial charge when you sign up online.

The e model is plagued w/ battery issues. Go ahead and grab it off ebay if you really want that model. The price has dropped considerably for that model.

edit: a member informed me that international versions were the problem.

I was hoping that cricket was gonna have a better deal.
Wasn't it $300 for the s8 2 years ago, then $350 for the s9 last year, and now $400 for the s10.

I don't know if the yearly increase is b/c the MSRP going up over time or b/c cricket is not seeing a decline in sales even w/ the increase in price.

anyone know if Cricket has as good coverage as AT&T? Tired of being fleeced by AT&T and I think cricket uses their network? AT&T is the only service that good coverage where I work

All the battery issues are with the International models (with Exynos processor instead of Snapdragon in US models) .. it's not specific to E ...

I think you're right but it might be a combination of the MSRP going up and the discount staying at the same percentage (50%). But didn't know about the E battery issues, not sure if it's worth the risk then...
