Yeah same here. I honestly had to go to a different manufacturer. No knock against you at all for posting the deal. It's a good price. I just wouldn't buy it for heavy duty work.
The reviewer explains it has great performance for a 36 volt and there are more powerful models such as ego's but those are at higher voltages such as 56V.
The Makita 18V blower mentioned in this post is not for blowing leaves. Anyone trying to do so will be greatly disappointed but that's because it's not designed for that. This is a jobsite blower, a very light duty blower to clear away jobsite debris for stuff like sawdust, drywall dust, etc. Light stuff so you don't have to sweep or vacuum.
These are small and great for what they are made for.
I have the larger 36 volt and that also is great. Puts out about 90% of air that my top rated Stihl BG55 gas blower does. Makita gets used the most since quick and easy.
But a lot of leaves on a decent size yard. Nothing is going to beat a backpack blower.

What about the XBU02PT1 ? Seems a good deal when you factor in all the batteries:

Review seems promising; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGDLpdh
If it can blow rocks, it can definitely blow leaves!

lol at your if it can blow rocks, it can blow leaves comment! It reminds me of, if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball.
What's sad though is that people like that will tell you night and day that cordless tools aren't any good and even sadder is that there are people that will believe them

I have the X2 36V model which is awesome.
I also have the smaller of the Milwaukee 18V models which is probably similar to this, kind of a toy in comparison to the 36V model but still with it's utility.
Couple years old, but a comparison of electric blowers here [protoolreviews.com] - but only covers the more powerful class of blowers, and not the one in the OP.

FakeSpot is utterly meaningless when it comes to name-brand equipment like Makita. Doubly so when it's actually sold by Amazon.
Smart choice, because it's not made for heavy-duty work. 🙄
