Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

What the heck... costco has the worst wireless kiosk system. Called in today before going and they said they have the phone I wanted in stock. When I arrived, there were a few people there already who apparently had appointments. And they were not entertaining customers without appointments. So the next earliest appointment available for me is Tuesday and cant promise if they will have the phones in stock then. I am genuinely surprised that Costco is stocking only so few phones. Apparently all the Costco's in Seattle area have very limited stock and only through appointments.

Am I thinking correctly?? The sooner i ship out the phone for trade in, the quicker I can get the rebates. By the way, if it is possible to change the phone for trade in later, which I have already registered at the counter? The Customer representative said no.

Yes. They all seem sort of slimy too. I hate dealing with them.

I read through the Wiki but would like some guidance from everyone. My scenario is as follows:

I am currently on a family plan with AT&T that we plan to cancel. However, I can't cancel it for another couple of weeks. I have a iPhone 7 plus. It's an international unlocked version but have been using it with AT&T for the last couple of years. Is it possible to do this:

Buy the iPhone 11 at Costco, activate on TMO with a new number. Go to AT&T and activate the AT&T number I've been using on the iPhone 11 so I have two numbers? If so, does it matter which number is the esim and which number the actual sim card? From the wiki, it seems like after about 40 - 41 days (and obviously after I get the rebate and money for trade-in), I can cancel my TMO number? I can then port my AT&T number over to another service (namely Verizon or Visible)?

Thanks in advance.

My kid is using an iPhone 6s on Sprint BOYD (ends in Jan 2020) far away from home. Could I give Costco the IMEI of this 6s, and wait 20 days (when he gets back for Xmas break) to mail it to Tmobile for trade-in, assuming he can still use the 6s on Sprint for the 20days? I know this will delay the Rebate by 20days (therefore could potentially spend one extra month on Tmobile's $70/month single line plan). I am also concerned whether Tmobile will take over the IMEI and void our Sprint service. Anyone has experience on this?
You can wait and submit . Just ensure you wipe the phone and remove all passcodes . Kind of tough to make all these choices during the holidays

Calling costco was useless. They can check the inventory for you over the phone, but will transfer you to wireless kiosk for appointments or questions. And kiosk people never pick up the phone because they are extremely busy. Their appointment system is also a joke. He wrote my name and number in a book and wrote the appointment time next to it. I see few other names around it, but I wonder how searchable those are or how they avoid double booking. It's old school, super manual.

Buy T-mobile iPhone 11 from Costco on this promo, after unlock then go to T-mobile store and ask them to move t-mobile number to esim. Since the phone is unlocked you can insert the other sim (your AT&T or Verizon) to this iPhone 11 which can handle 2 sim in 1 phone.

You might need to check with Service representatives, As far as I know the one plan may be included with this promo. I don't know about the rate for the extra line.

From the wiki: Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

so i cant just immediately swap my sim into the new phone and leave the new line alone (while waiting to receive the rebate)?
