-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

I am also having entering IMEI number, called TMo, and guy said, it will fix by end of this week. Not too sure when they will fix this issue but it is expending our rebate return timelines

Will it be okay to simply remove the SIM, send the phone in for the refund, and cancel my Boost line in a few weeks?
How come you paid $130? Price of phone for $50 and service for $50 with tax should be no more than $110 or less? Did they charge you for something else?

you get 68 in bill credit (or whatever they quoted you) and the remainder balance on a virtual card.
So let's say you bought the iPhone 11 64gb for $630 and they offered you $30 for your trade in.
You will get $30 as a bill credit, $600 as a virtual card.
$630 total.
if you buy an iPhone 11 128gb, $680 TOTAL
if you buy an iPhone 11 pro 64gb for $900, $700 TOTAL.
So getting conflicting info, but I am more inclined to believe the wisdom of the crowd on this thread
