Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

The Boost approach is a bust. The phone they sent can only be activated on Boost. It "has NOT reached its financial responsibility."
Meaning Boost phones are not good for trade in?

You can't combine them. Think about it. BYOD means bring your own device. You get this when you add/activate a line and don't buy a phone. You get one offer.

What does EIP stand for? Also does this mean, i can simply trade in my 6s plus and walk away with unlocked device ? Trying to understand the "doesnt require adding a line"
You will probably get $100 for iphone 6S on that deal without adding a line. EIP means installment payments.

The boost phone is not financed though. It's just locked to the carrier. There are no installments tied to the phone. If you stop paying your boost bill your service is cutoff but the phone is not blacklisted like phones that are financed

uhh, Boost iphone 7 works if purchased directly from their website, dont understand why someone said they didnt. Had a friend trade one in directly to T-mobile for the bill credits.

Hi all, thanks for sharing these amazing feedback ! I have a question regarding the trade in. The phone IMEI I used for trade in cannot be used as it is under a contract.

If I use a different phone for the trade-in, can any Costco change the IMEI or does it have to be the one where I got it from. I think they use the same system so hopefully it is feasible. Alternatively, is it possible for TMobile to do it over the phone ? Thanks.

I called Ting. They said that the site shows responsibility even if the phone is paid off but has not been used with Boost for 12 months. Called up Sprint as well and they said they didn't even have the phone listed in the finance system. Boost also confirmed that there was no financial liability but that it had to be used in Boost for 12 months. Have spent close to 3 hrs between Boost and Sprint calls, ... hopefully this helps.

Yes, I just got a DM saying the IMEI fix will occur overnight, and to try it tomorrow. We shall see.

Anyone have this issue? Had 2 family members get this promo 2 days ago and got 2 iPhone 11s, I went today to get it at a different Costco and the system says I'm on a flex plan. Rep says he can't do anything about it and tells me to call T-Mobile. I call T-Mobile and they say I'm on the T-Mobile ONE plan and all my lines are also on the same plan including the ones that were added by my family members (as they should be, my T-Mobile app confirms the same). Wondering if it's because I went to a different store, trying to go to the same store they went to that gave no issues now. Hope things work out. Wondering if anyone had the same experience or who I can escalate to.

Agreed, hope they stick to their word and fix it by tomorrow. I think the twitter thing made the difference.

I would suggest anyone who is having this issue also post on Twitter, this is the only channel that seems to be working since this deal started. The more people who voice their concern the higher it goes on their priority list.

Can someone post the twitter link on the wiki of this forum and urge people to post on Twitter? I don't know how to post on wiki, thanks.
