Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Incase if we get this deal, how much are we going to pay for the data plan? It's just me on the account. Any insights would be really appreciated.

Need big help here.

I have military line and was upto 6 lines. I was trying to add 7th line at costco but system was not able to.

I called tmobile and added the 7th line thru them and had costco do a upgrade and get the $700 trade in promo.

Would the rebate work? Tmobile rep said it will work but she didn't sound confident.
It'll work if you add a line and upgrade on the same day. I did it last year and received the rebate.

Son of a b+#@. After waiting three hours I finally got my iPhones. My rep reassured me several times everything was good for the rebate and he would include the shipping label etc. Get home and they didn't, apparently screwed up accepting the offer on the trade-in. What are my options here? Is this something they can fix or am I going to have to return and miss out.
They can retype the trade in paperwork...I actually went in today and changed my trade in device...from a 128gb variant to a 32gb ...cause my friend could use the extra storage

General question on trading in a boost iphone 7 purchased thru in-store offer. in-store promotion [boostmobile.com]
How are people confident that the phone bought from above will be considered as paid-off phone and is eligible for trade-in? I know the in-store offer is for a prepaid plan. If you try to unlock it, it wouldn't work. Technically its not a paid-off phone. isn't it?
Can anyone try to answer this or share your thoughts? This in-store promo is $49.99 for the iphone 7 with a $50 plan.

As long as the line was open on the same day and Costco rep called and opened it then you should be fine

I am looking for this answer too. Has this worked for the previous deals ? Apparently the phones show up under financial responsibility not clear for the IMEI check too.

Anyone has gotten the rebate to go through with phones from this deal yet?

Thanks for responding. Then my question would be to people who bought a iphone 7 from Boost in-store offer. i.e., $49.99 for an iphone and $50 plan. Have you guys tried to check if the phone has been paid-off using the instructions from above URL? There might be a risk of the phone not being eligible for the trade-in.

The phones are definitely eligible for trade in. I purchased 4 IPhone 7 from boost mobile and did the family plan 4 for $100.

I've done similar deals before using boost mobile phones as trade in's and I've never had any issues.

I don't have the iPhone 7 for trade-in at the time of purchase. I have to order them online. Does anyone know whether I can get the rebates if I give the rep.
the IMEI number after the promo period had ended but still within the 30 days from the date of purchase? A couple rep. told me that I need to provide them the IMEI
number for the trade-in phones within the promo period in order to get the rebates. I read thru the requirements on the rebate form and it didn't specify.
Please help. Thank you.

The rep I had told me that they can go back in and add trade in after the fact. Have you tried going to a local boost mobile store and picking iphone 7 from them?

Can this be done via online? Please do let me know. Thanks.
No it cannot be done online. If you do it online then you'll end up getting the 24 month bill credit. As the Wiki says, you physically have to walk out with a phone from a costco store.

The answer to this question varies heavily on you. T-Mobile has plenty of plans for military, 55+, first responders, and regular customers. The cheapest plan you can get individually is the essential which would be $60 a month plus taxes and fees. You might be better off with the magenta plan which would be $70 with taxes and fees included.
