Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Does anyone know if the rebate has to be received via text? Can I have it sent to my email? I'm going to be out of country Jan/Feb and worried about missing my rebate text 😂 (I'm new to T-mobile, can you get texts on Essentials plan when out of country?)

I have the original T-Mobile One Unlimited 55+ Plan. I signed up when it first came out and my plan qualified for one additional line. The account shows up as T-Mobile One and I think it will be ok. Thanks...

Anyone not get forced open?
The Costco wireless rep only opened one of the four iphone 11s that I got. But someone on this thread mentioned that it might be necessary to use the phones in order to get rebates. I'm not sure if there's any basis for that belief, but since the rebate is so large, it makes sense to open the other iphones up and use it at least one time rather than risk losing out on rebate.

Help! I bought a pre-owned iPhone 7 from Boost.com to trade in for this deal and it arrived this morning in great condition. I checked the IMEI on swappa and it came back clear, however I checked with Sprint (Ting.com checker) and it gives error "this phone can't be activated.""this device had not reached financial eligibility". I called Boost and they checked IMEI and said it's fine, no balance due. I made rep check with supervisor who also said "they guarantee it will activate". ??? Will the rep at Costco be able to tell me if there is money due on this phone? I really can't risk not getting the $700 rebate.
The Costco wireless rep will not tell you if there's any money due on any phone. In fact, if you raise that possibility with them, there's a chance that might mess up your dealings with that rep if he/she thinks that your iphone 7 can't be traded in. Based on your conversation with the Boost supervisor, sounds like there shouldn't be any problem. But you won't know for sureuntil AFTER you mail in your iphone 7 for the trade in.

Datapoint: I purchased an iPhone 7 from a Boost store and the rep didn't provide a receipt except the one generated from the CC transaction. Furthermore, the tax for the iPhone was charged on the original sale price of $399 and not $49.

These iPhones will be carrier locked to T-Mobile right ? If so , can I port my att number as second line on the esim ? I would like to keep my att connection as it is my work line. Can anyone please help letting me know if moving my att number to the new iPhone from this deal has any implications with it being carrier locked to T-Mobile ?

When I ship my phone for trade-in, shall I remove the SIM card (service with Boost still active)? Also, do I just erase my phone before I trade it in, leave it at the "hello" page?

The reps I spoke to today said they will only accept port-ins for this offer, no new line even though it clearly says on the ad that it's eligible for all new line activations. Do I just go to a different costco to get this deal?

Try a different costco? I did a trade in without port-in this afternoon around 4pm.

My question is - I open the phone and use it for a couple days - and then I lose it or break it or just don't want to use it and I go to an Android phone or whatever. Or what if I travel to Europe for couple months and use the local sim there? Can T-Mobile reject my trade in even if - the line is activated, phone was activated and was in use for a couple days? That makes no sense to me. How can they force you to use the phone?

I got an iPhone 7 on Straight Talk, but when the Costco rep was choosing Straight Talk as the carrier, it only went up to iPhone 6s Plus, so she picked "Apple Generic" carrier, which then listed the correct phone - iPhone 7 32GB black. The IMEI entered was also correct. Does anyone think that would be a problem?

TIA!
