Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

You don't need to change your number. Just keep the line open for about 3 months, cancel after rebate is received and continue using your current number during all this. You'll pay extra for 3 months for this new line though.
Good idea. I might pay some 20/m for new line, so $60 for 3 months and a tax of $65 for iPhone 11. Not bad. Then you get $630 rebate back on a card. Will go tomorrow to check. Don't know why I took so long, people are now saying most stores are OOS.

A quick question about the phone inspection part of things: I'm looking to trade in my wife's iPhone 7, but am remembering that at one point, she had dropped it in water. She did quickly retrieve it, dried it and it has always worked fine since. Will it still pass for the trade in? Do they check for that as part of the trade-in process?

Just got my $544 rebate through text message for the earlier $580 Costco iPhone 11 deal ($36 credit for 6S applied to first month payment). I sent the phone on 11/04
Same sent in on the 4th and got the rebate today. Got $549 for my 6S on card and $36 in bill credit. There was an extra $5 since Assurant only assessed my 6S at $31. Never got a text about the reduced value and after a week or so, I called in to follow up. Apparently Assurant took off credit since they listed my iPhone 6S as generic even though the trade in was an iPhone I bought directly from T-Mobile back in 2016. The rep I called accepted the $31 assessment on my behalf and then credited me the $5 difference to my account.

On a side note, does anyone here have more insight as to when we can cancel without the possibility of getting blacklisted from these kinds of promotions from Costco/Wireless Advocates? I've heard that it would be safe to cancel after 6 months so the wireless rep can get their commission. I had a hard time with my first Costco getting the 11 and I'm thinking it was because I did the free iPhone XR with trade in last year, and cancelled the extra line about 2 months after I got the card. I've heard of others getting refused/blacklisted/banned from Wireless Advocates from taking advantage of too many these promos and then cancelling immediately after receiving the rebate. I know I can cancel the additional line I added for this promo now, but I don't want to jeopardize my ability to get future promos like this.

Is the pro model better than the iPhone 11? The screen size is smaller than iPhone 11 though the price is higher. Can anybody provide insight on this? Thanks.
This is not an easy answer. There are a few thousand comparisons online.

Google will give you way better answers than here.

Guys, clear something up for me please. I have 3 unlocked iPhone 11 and XS on Sprint and want to move to T-Mobile. Went to COSTCO in Forest Hills, NY and they don't have any iPhone 11 in stock. Can I just get any 3 iPhones from COSTCO and move the SIMs to my existing phones and claim rebate and sell the COSTCO iPhones?

The COSTCO iPhone were paid full at the store so should be unlocked or at least not under financial obligation. The 3 lines would be active and used because that's 3 active lines ported from Sprint. Is there any reason I would have problem claiming rebates and sell the random COSTCO iPhones?
You have to TRADE IN phones to get this deal. If you trade in your exisiting phones, and sell your new ones, what phone will you be using?

Yes, they do inspect the water indicator.

How to use the virtual express prepaid card? Is it equal to cash for online shopping?
Yes... sort of.

Equal to credit card/debit card for online shopping.

Has anyone been in a situation where you provide Costco Rep the info to trade on a 6S but then before you send your phone for the rebate, you realize you should have traded a 7 instead?

Do you return/rebuy? or is there a way to edit the traded phone info?

Yesterday I got 2 att prepaid numbers from eBay and when I went to boost mobile to get IPhone 7, they said that their system is not allowing the port in as it was activated today only( they called att customer care to confirm). Did anyone else also faced this issue? How can we get through this ?
Any other option? I thought of trying with google voice, But with google voice, what carrier name we need to tell them( they ask me the carrier name also).
