Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

The financial eligibility is just sprints internal way of controlling where their phones can be used within the sprint network.
Thanks.

Other than sending in the old phone and submitting the tmobile rebate. Is there anything else we have to do? I am planning to just use tmobile's plan for a year or two until something new comes up

Check the status of rebates on t-mobile.com/promotion. When the status change to sent, there shall be a red redeem button under the status, it shall redirect you to the virtual card site and log in it.
Thanks for your feedback, I just checked it today and the status shows as approved, but I did not see any link to access the rebate. Does it mean that the rebate hasn't been issued yet? how long it will take to issue the rebate?

A small one-time bill credit will be applied for the phone you trade-in (usually $30-$100 depending on which model you're trading in).
The remaining portion of $650 will be issued through a Virtual Prepaid MasterCard, which can later be withdrawn as direct deposit.
Limit 4 per account.

have you tried putting in DFU mode and installing software update via iTunes?

hard reset (on 7, hold home button + sound up until white apple) while connected to computer then a screen should pop up on itunes asking you to reset/restore/update
For iphone 7 i think it is "Sleep/Wake button + Volume Down button". Yes i tried this but same message in itunes. Cant activate and it needs upgrade.

I got the SUPCASE ones from Amazon. Used them on the older iPhones and they protected them well and fairly cheap. Nothing fancy though

"Costco's return policy for cellular phones is 90 days from date of original purchase. Within 90 days you may receive a refund on the handset itself."

can anybody provide a little more insight on how the accepted offer value works? my son went to costco and to do this deal with a boost iphone 7 (went to get it with him that morning so it was still brand new), and when he got home and i saw the paperwork the accepted offer value was $0. can someone tell me what process can i go through to get it fixed to whatevr the proper amount would be. also if it doesnt get corrected will i receive the rebate at all, will it be a reduced rebate, or will i just be out of luck. any help would be greatly appreciated!

You may need to go back to Costco and ask them to redo the trade in paper. iPhone 7 should have $50-$60 trade in value based on the answer the Costco rep fill in the questionnaire form like - phone is power on, no physical damage, etc. my guess is that the rep might missed one of the question and bring down the value to zero.
