Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Go on a browser and remove the phone from your find my iPhone in your iCloud account. That's what I did a few days after sending my iPhone in. I only reset it before making it.
Ok here is latest update on my case.

Today I called the rebates customer service and the issue was that the phone needed the trade in price adjusted to $54. I accepted it and everything should be fine and credited by Dec 16th. I'm not sure why the T-Mobile rep yesterday stated the issue was with iCloud. Anyway I'm glad my issue is resolved.

I suggest to anyone who has not received the credit within 3-4 business days after the delivery to call the rebates number and ask to check if any issue with trade in and they should take care of it if price need to be adjusted.

We opened new account with t-mobile with 4 lines with this offer. I am one of them and I created my own tmobile login for my line.
Should the promotion details be submitted from my login or should it be done from prime applicant's login portal?

It's safe to do it with the primary user login. The rebate card will have their name on it.

Why do you think the rebate card would be in the name of primary applicant? If I submit from my login, I was thinking the rebate card would be sent to my address in my name.

Anyone else tried returning and rebuying after rebate for different color and model? I was calling them and talked for 15 minutes, the information they gave me is that if I return and buy another model(i want to upgrade 11 64G to pro max by paying extra), Tmobile will charge me back the $580. that means I will loose my rebate benefit even though costco allows us to return in 3 months. they said the time windows for exchange without affecting rebate is only 14 days, otherwise, you have to return it to costco and Tmobile will charge back the rebate amount. Not sure they use this excuse to prevent me from doing that.
Think about it for a second. I also bought 6 T-Mobile phones from 2 different promotion . If you are allowed to return / exchange without consequences, what would prevent me from return the phones that were exchanged as well. What business would survive this kind of fraud?

I was expecting to get a $700 mastercard in the mail.

I got this email from Tmobile... Credit amount: $185

Something didn't go right.

You have a T-Mobile trade-in device credit

that is your trade in credit (credited to your tmobile account). the remaining (700 - 185) will be the prepaid mastercard and that would take 6-8 weeks.

Does anyone have experience with what happens if my trade in bill credit is greater than my bill when I cancel after receiving the rebate? Will I get a refund on the credit amount or lose it? Would I risk screwing up my rebate if I upgrade my account for the first month from magenta to magenta plus and back down to magenta for the second month to make use of the extra credit?
How many lines? How much trade in credit?

For those who have traded in 4 iphone 7s, trade-in credit covers the first month, 55% of the second month bill. It takes 30-40 days for t-mobile to issue that virtual master card. So ya need to keep that long.

Transfer to your bank directly from the rebate card website. There is no fee to do this.

Log in to the rebate card webpage and click the 'Access $' tab, then transfer. The 'transfer' button is also on the 'Dashboard' tab.
You can only have your bank info attached to 1 rebate card at any same time. So, once you initiate your bank transfer, remove your bank info.
Now log on to the next rebate card and repeat the process until you have all your cards drained.
Thanks for quick reply

Did you try it??
Because when I went through fine print it says " you will be charged a service fee, if applicable"

Doesn't mention how much though..

It says that. But no charge actually. Shows 0 in final screen.
