Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

One of my trade in delivered on 12/10. Called on 12/14, they said they haven't inspected the device. Called again today 12/17, accepted the rebate. Logged into my account, I saw the $54 credit.

Still waiting for my other device, delivered 12/16, not in their system yet. Rep told me that I can accept through the link on text, told him that i never received the text or email.

I believe it's a general reminder. I too received a similar text from T-Mobile for the $580 promotion although my phones were delivered.
Thanks

I see the status of the phone submission as showing "received" as of today. When are you ppl getting the virtual Mastercard when the status was showing received ?

I have a question about tmobile unlock . I logged on to my account and checked the unlock status, it still shows my device is not eligible for unlock, but I already activated phone line on 11/6. Technically it should pass more than 40 days, should I trust that message and wait until it show I am eligible or inquiry the tmobile people?

You can chat with CS and request an unlock for your iPhone. You will need to provide IMEI and email address. It will take about 2 days to get the magic email.

Its already two weeks, not traceable at usps and phone not received at Tmobile.
Call USPS immediately and raise request. I called them and immediately it went to next stage.

Yes, opened a missing package and they said it takes 2-3 weeks as lithium batteries are HAZMAT and would go ground shipping. Said to wait for few more days

Thanks. guess my question is if my account truly indicates whether my device is eligible for unlock or it it doesn't? in other words, after the device was active for 40 days, would that show it is eligible for unlock? also, you mentioned of chat, do you really mean chat by typing or making phone call?

The phone status on the account is hit or miss. I unlocked my phone a week back and it still shows the wrong status on the account. Your best bet to unlock would be TForce through Facebook or Twitter.

Thanks for the response, my activation period has been over 40 days, technically I should be able to unlock. Any reason to do it through Tforce via Facebook or Twitter instead of what is described in Tmobile website? is it because Tforce could help you by typing message, email etc? I know nothing about how to acess Tforce through FB or Twitter. any advice on how to use it? can I ask them to unlock multiple phone at once since I bought them together.

Contacting tmobile via direct message through twitter is excellent. They generally answer within about half an hour, and they can solve almost any issues you are having. I'd go that route first.
