-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
This is ABSOLUTELY wrong
ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

My first submission for rebate on 11/27: two files were needed for the submission, I uploaded one file and and wanted to upload another one, only found out you have to upload both files with one click, worse it won't allow you to change the submission. It was denied eventually.
So I had to submit another rebate for the same phone 5 minutes after I did the first submission.Got the $50 credit towards plan bill, but no rebate till 1/1/20.
Called to check the status and a third submission was done by TMo's representative. It was approved right away, one hour later the third one changed to received, and one day later it changed to denied.
Called this morning, was told I have to wait at least two more weeks to get the rebate.
The point is I don't trust the their words, but I can't do anything about the status.
Such a stress, it will be my first and last time to do rebate with Tmo.
I'm more than happy even it take 2 months receive as long as i get it.
By any chance did they said any time frame for you?
Much appreciated!
Twitter rep status when looked-up Status: No/ineligible device found on the receipt
Looks like they just flipped the status to received to buy some more time. As per the conversation on Twitter DM. They are looking for document where they can see the T-Mobile number and IMEI number.

Called in again, the rep said she was really familiar with this promotion. Did manual override on them and now they all show "Approved".
Mentioned it'll take another 7 business days.
Only getting the difference of $700 - trade in, not the full $700
Your item was delivered to an individual at the address at 4:14 pm on December 28, 2019 in YORK, PA 17402
Im wondering about delivered to an individual, shouldnt it be a PO Box?

I have an old iPhone 7 128GB lying around.
- Got iPhone 11 64GB for $629 + tax at Costco (total duration about 2.5 hours) on 12/2
- Mailed in trade-in on 12/2
- Submit online rebate form on 12/2
- USPS delivered trade-in on 12/9
- Received trade-in value $68 as bill credit on 12/12
- Chatted with FB T-Force to unlock the phone on 12/16
- Received rebate card text (but I ignored) on 1/1 9pm
- The rebate tracker status changed to sent, with rebate card value $632 (full $700 rebate even though my phone was less than that) on 1/2
- Initiated ACH on 1/2
- The money showed up in my bank account as pending on 1/3
- Closed account on 1/3 (which is the last day of first month)
- Waiting for ACH to settle
Out of Pocket Cost = $629 phone + $51.89 tax + $70 first month - $700 credit = $50.89
Hopefully this helps some people.
