Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
You are talking CRAP.....stop telling untruths.

This is ABSOLUTELY wrong

ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

I also called in today and they modified it from Denied to Approved but now shows Received.
No card yet
I just called in minutes ago and the agent created a new claim and approved it. Let's see how long I can receive the money.

BTW
I called them first time on 1/2 but the agent said it was too early to do anything.
I then talked to them on Twitter. That agent told me I didn't have to do anything. They will re-evaluated it and automatically correct it. But I don't believe him.

I reached out to TMobile help on twitter, they said it will take 8 weeks. Submitted on 11/27, but promotions page is showing 11/30. Not sure whats the issue but looks like IMEI issue has something to do with this. Doesnt look like ppl who submitted immediately after 11/27 will get it soon.

I jumped in on the deal when they didn't have 128g in stock, so i took a 64g. Now that I've already received the virtual card. Can i just return the 64g phone and buy another unlocked 128g somewhere else (since its full price at Costco anyway) ?

Traded three IP7 from boost mobile n received $700 credit in total. I received $473 virtual card for my t-mobile iPhone 7 Plus 128GB trade-in. Received $117 as bill credit. Not why sure they have issued less than $600 in total. Any thoughts?

My 11/27 was a 64GB black. 12/4 was a 128GB purple.

Thanks for the tip. I reached to them and they did unlock. But they said I have to wait 48 hours and try it.
Did you complete 40 days of service or were they able to unlock it for you before 40 days itself? I have completed only 36 days so far and not sure if I should wait for 5 more days or should i just try it right away?

The same thing happened to me. On my new claim, it changed from Approved to Received. Not card either. This whole rebate experience is horrible.

Just try it right way. My phones are unlocked. I'll close the accounts by porting to Verizon BYOD.

Thanks! I will do that now.
Also, my second month bill ($70) for this phone is due by 1/19. If I port out prior to that, would I still owe $70 to TMobile or will it be prorated to the number of days I used the service.
I bought the phone on 11/29 so I believe my second month ends only on 1/29.
Do you have any idea?

What I heard from others is - it will be prorated and of T-Mobile owes they will send us either check or gift card kinda thing. I'm not worried about that as long as we are not going to pay anything more from here.
