I noticed there are two submission dates

one is on https://promotions.t-mobile.com/status/XXXXXX

the other one is on https://promotions.t-mobile.com/rebates.

so which one we should rely on?

Do you want to start new twitter thread? Let's all of us who stuck with 11/27-11/30 rebate team up and retweet to get their attention. I dont think they like negative media tweets.

Except nothing has gone wrong (yet). They say rebates take 6-8 weeks to process. It happens that in reality, 4 weeks is usually all the time that is needed. However, they have until the end of 8 weeks before they have broken any sort of promise.

Can we complain that they procees the rebate not in order of submission date? Rebates submitted on dec have been processed before those submitted on 11/27-11/30, which is a broken system.
I think we shud wait...unless it says denied...they might have escalation process once 8 weeks passes and rebate is still in received status

why are you asking others' permission to complain to t-mobile about your account? do whatever you want. what's the worst that can happen? t-mobile still owes you the rebate even if you complain.

everyone here followed all their rules. what's the problem with putting a spotlight on this issue through social media right now? even though the rules said we had 30 days after purchase to submit for rebate, did we wait 30 days to get the "imei not found" issue fixed? why does this have to be different?
someone who submitted both before and after 12/1 and had the latter approved already can make a much stronger case that there's some problem with their system which needs to be fixed right now.

No, you can not complain or take any other action just because someone feels it is not FAIR.

Geez..

Point of information:
  • Nov 26 - Purchased iPhone11 64GB for $630+tax
  • Dec 2 - Mailed trade-in iphone8
  • Dec 3 - Filed rebate online after verifying USPS tracking number showed shipment active, received text confirmation with rebate submission tracking info.
  • Dec 5 - Trade delivered
  • Dec 7 - Received text stating the iphone 8 (64GB) trade credit of $127 was applied to my account.
  • Jan 3 - Received text with link to virtual mastercard worth $573 - logged into wirecard, performed an ACH transfer of the fund to my checking account
  • Jan 6 - I see the funds as a pending deposit in my account
Once the deposit clears (likely tomorrow), I'll cancel the line by porting it out to NumberBarn.

We can hope...

The only obligation is that the rebate be processed in the timeline stated in the paperwork - "Allow up to 6 weeks for processing."

When did you submit your rebate? Have you received the rebate?

When can we cancel the new line? I have received the prepaid card. Will Tmobile revoke the card if I cancel the line right now?
