-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans
-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.
-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".
-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.
-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100
-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.
-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get
-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.
-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.
-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.
My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.
This is ABSOLUTELY wrong
ANY listed phone, ANY carrier.....as long as its in good condition and not icloud locked

Any experience with cancellation using port out, will they give me credit if i cancel mid of the cycle. If not then i might as well stay for the whole cycle.

Any recommendations? Is my phone unlocked or not?
I'd personally at least stay with them for 90 days.
Back when I did the XR deals, I let the lines sit for 3-6 bill cycles since simple choice was included and it was only $10 per line. I was able to do the deal 5 times between 2 accounts. It was 1 offer per account per promo code. when I went to do the deal for the 11, the rep saw canceled lines and said "Let me just be sure it has been more than 90 days".
Like I said, it's all up to the rep and how strict they are.
I received the unlock approval email. After 48 hours, I tried a verizon sim. It didn't say Congrats as the email sugggested but I could make a phone call. Then I tried a Sprint sim. It couldn't recognize it. This makes me kind of concerned. Tmobile web site still shows my phone locked

I checked on sprints site and it says I am good for my 11 pro.
The Sprint network will work for you

got the same BYOD message from Sprint, but cannot find server with Sprint sim?
I did it yesterday as well and I just checked my account but the status is: Processing.
I did my brothers rebate late last night like around 9 pm and that's the only one that didn't show up yet. The others were done around 11 a.m.

Mine shows as unlocked:
Good news!
