Jeez...

-Simple Choice is NOT eligible. No, your account isn't special. It won't work. You have to change plans

-If you don't walk out of the store w/ the new Iphone in your hand, you will get bill credits. Which means you are stuck for 2 years and the extra you're paying for the line lessens this deal.

-Deal is $500 rebate for 6s phones, $700 for iPhone 7 and beyond. If you have an iPhone 6 or lower, you're getting no rebate. End of story. There are no loopholes or "what ifs".

-Phone screen can't be cracked. Not a "what about a little crack in the corner" comment. It will be rejected. Same goes for "what about a home button not working." Try it, but don't be surprised when it gets rejected. It's your $700 gamble. Stop asking if it will work.

-If your screen is cracked, get it fixed by a 3rd party place before sending in. It's typically less than $100

-Phone can be unlocked after 40 days w/ a request to Tmobile, and then used with any wireless service.

-Can't cancel line until you get your rebate; then go ahead and cancel or port out. Rebate takes 2-3 months to get

-Phone supports dual sim, so put your current ph# on the Esim (just go to a Tmobile store and ask) and the sim card with your new # in the phone. Yes, you can now have 2 numbers on new iPhones. Then you don't risk the phone # not being active while waiting for the rebate.

-If you want a cheap iPhone 7, look on the internet. Don't be lazy. Otherwise try a boost mobile store and read the "instore promo" offers on their website. Some are shady, so ask everything they're charging you for.

-Lastly, don't trust the Costco wireless reps. Hundreds of people here have done this and similar deals. They know better than any rep you will meet, as they've all done these deals.

Please make sure that you buy the phone outright, meaning limited colors and storage options.

My local store didn't have the iPhone 11 in stock and I was told I'd still get the GC rebate. After reading all the paperwork, when I got home, this isn't the case. Had to go back to cancel the line and wait for the phone shipment to arrive to go back and return that (which you have to mail yourself with the label provided). 2 weeks later, EIP is still on my account.

Did you submit multiple rebates after the first one? I had submitted my first rebate on 12/6 and then I got two more phones and submitted them on 12/26. I believe my second purchase has pushed out my first purchase rebate and I asked to T-force if this is what's going on and they say that's not the case. But I do suspect thats what's going on in my case because when they pull the rebates using my phone number they see the ones submitted on 12/26 as the first ones and never mention anything about the one submitted on 12/6. I have to explicitly point them out about that one and they say exactly the same thing that you posted.
I have submitted all rebates on the same day and sent the phones same day...all of them were iPhone 7. Out of 4, two got processed 10 days ago and I am still waiting for 2.

If there is any amount balance left in my account and if I cancel my account will I have to forfeit my amount or will T-Mobile refund the money after I close the account ? Does anyone know?
The reason I ask is they screwed up my rebate - they gave 100$ less than my actual amount after several follow ups they gave the diff amount as one time credit to my account. So looking for options here on how best to make use of that 100$. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
They will refund any credit balance...but you have to wait for 30 days...the balance comes as a Refund card (it is the same as your Rebate card except it is a Physical Card)...I had that on a regular account that I canceled a few months back.

EDIT: Good suggestion. First I got tripped about what you were talking about. But you are referring to wirecard.com.
Folks, register your card at login.wirecard.com and then go to payments. That's what our friend is talking about. You can register on a PC but will have to do the transfer from your phone after you login to the wirecard.com account.
Thanks, I got through this and your info was helpful. Though, not sure what you are talking about, regarding needing to go to phone to do the transfer after registering on PC wirecard account?

After registering there is a transfer option on the PC. I just went from there and did the transfer. No need to go back to the phone to do the transfer. Or go to the Access $ tab at the top and select transfer your funds.

I had to create 3 accounts for my 3 separate rebate cards, and they wouldn't let me ACH to the same bank. I needed to ACH to 3 different banks. Could see this being a problem in the future. Stupid system seems to require a different login for each card, and then if a bank is associated with that login for a transfer you can't use that bank with a different card.

You can just call the help line and have them merge all the cards into one card of your choice

Also, I see someone had mentioned you can remove the account. There is a delete button with the transfer option. So it looks like I could have gone back to the first account, deleted the bank for transfer, and then use that bank on the next card.

I received the trade-in rebates, but unfortunately my phone is not working properly now. Costco has a 90-day return policy for cell phones. Can I return my phone to Costco now? Thanks

what's wrong with it? Apple can replace it since it is under warranty.

I shipped the trade-in phone.
It was packaged very securely.
USPS shows the package was delivered.
T-Mobile claims they never got the phone.
I've had them open two inquiries and both have been closed with judgement being against me.
I'm giving the short version of what I've gone through in this deal.
This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with a cell phone company. This is absurd. I've even provided them with photos and videos showing me testing the trade-in phone, wiping it, packaging it up, and showing it boxed up with the shipping label.
They lost the phone after USPS got it to them, and now they're screwing me.
They said I'd have to file a claim with USPS, but USPS got the package to them, so that would go nowhere.
Then they said since the trade-in offer is specific to Costco, I'd have to take it up with them. That's a load of crap. T-Mobile is the one who is denying my trade-in, not Costco. This is case of the T-Mobile reps not wanting to help and saying lies to get me off the phone.

"Thank you for contacting T-Mobile. We show no record of the trade in device (IMEI: [redacted] ) being received by our warehouse. Please contact Customer Care at 1-800-937-8997 if further assistance is needed."

People in this post who had the same problem got their rebate from Costco. If that's true, I would suggest you to talk to Costco rep.

Contact Tforce at FB or Twitter, or change to a different T-mobile customer service rep. Sometime T-mobile reps reside at Philippine are less trained or with less tools/resource to resolve issue (had first hand experience). Call during the day to have better chance to grab a US rep.

Do I need to be active on my purchased iPhone 11 in order to get the debit card mailed to me? I read on here there is a risk of not getting it if the phone is inactive, is that true?

I purchased two new iPhone 11's in December and have used one a little bit but the other I haven't even opened the box since I am going to sell it. I received emails for both giving me account credit of $54. But, I want to make sure I get the debit card for both. Will leaving one new iPhone 11 in the box be a problem for that? Greatly appreciate any help.
