It was the best sound I've ever heard in a home setting for movies. I will never forget the sheer visceral beauty and chilling power of movies like The Dark Knight and Skyfall on that system.
For better or worse, we moved to a small townhome and I had to sell off the system--no dedicated room for movies anymore.
But for $4500, if you give this good power and attach a good sub (optional), it's virtually unbeatable for any reasonable price.
If you're using it mostly for music, I'd look elsewhere... it sounds great, but (like most Focal speakers) is a little bright, which can be fatiguing for long audio sessions. Some people really like this sound, and I found the detail unbelievable for movies, but a little too sharp for music.
Hope this helps someone out. Still dream about this system 5-6 years later.

I will pass as I'm moving back to stereo listening. 2 or 2.2 channel sound
91.5db sensitive, which means that 100w per ch should be plenty...

i never seen individuals on sale, for new from an authorized dealer (in a long time) ... i'd imagine better to buy and break apart...
Never heard Power Sound but seems like same package would run around $6500, big jump.
Not sure what you mean by "real home theater speakers" but that will be very subjective.
If you're talking about speakers specifically for home theater, in my experience they don't do well with dual(music) duty.
I've listened to these before and more extensively the 936's.
Music wise they are outstanding and with home theater they are almost as good.
One nice thing about these, they have a small footprint and clearly you can tell much much better looking than Power Sound.
This deal only comes around every once in a while, pretty outstanding package.
The only drawback to it is those dipole speakers are not ideal for an object based set up.
I will mention that in my opinion an object based set up is only worth it in certain circumstances.
