I believe this is a 2018 model? Anyone have a real life comparison of this to a Samsung 6 or 7 series? I have the Samsung RU7100 and its pretty good, but I wish it had local dimming.

I own the 617, so essentially the sane TV, and can speak to what I've seen in the store. The motion is significantly better, much better saturation, and believe it would perform better in a well lit room. Would like to go with the R625 QLED (2019). Its $499 at urlhasbeenblocked.. has amazing saturation and contrast!

This TV crushes the 6 and 7 series. You just have to be mindful of screen lottery. The 8 series or q6 start to have different features that make it more competitive but for HDR and image quality this TV is still better and has a better interface.

Apparently this deal ended. Was going to go for this, but I already ordered the R613 from Costco. That 5 year warranty and $100 price difference was too difficult to pass up. I hear the motion is better on the 6 series from last year, but the new one has better speakers. I'm not interested in a sound bar, since its for the bedroom.

I was tempted to get it, but wasn't sure if urlhasbeenblocked was a trusted source. I guess I can't buy it now anyway, so I'll probably just get this one from Costco
I debated between this and getting a larger tv (65") with worse picture quality and am very glad I went with this model. We have a long skinny room and this works well at wide viewing angles. I just need to find the advanced picture settings to turn of the motion rate and calibrate the tv and I'll be good to go.
Just curious from those that stepped up to a tv that has the motion rate; did it take a while for you to get used to it or did you turn it off?
