Before launch there was a deal for $141 for 36 months. $65 a year, is $5.25 a month, 25% less than 6.99 a month.

Where $141 for 36 months is $3.91 a month, about 25% more from that deal.

I would say this is only worth it if you were about to subscribe to disney+ and want a 25% off the normal price.

Take it as a grain of salt but I don't think we will see the $3.91 price point again. Hopefully I am wrong. Either way 5 bucks a month is still really decent considering the quality of movies/shows. .02

This is not for Disney+ but for Disney Events and Theme Parks discounts as part of being a D23 member.

I am in Midwest and unsure if D23 is useful for folks outside of CA or FL, or to those who frequent their parks.

I already signed up for the 3-year Disney+ at $141 when it was offered and that required only base / free D23 account.

We don't live in FL or CA and got the individual Gold membership in August. We like pins so it as just about worth it for us but I wish I would have know about this deal coming up (would have waited).

We haven't used much of any other benefits except early access to some tickets for Disney musical coming to my town. We missed out on some movie premiers before we signed up but there really isn't much outside of FL and CA as far as events that you can go to. The D23 event they have every 2 years is probably the reason most people get it.

Thanks for the details. If you have already paid $99 for membership, try calling Disney CS to see if they can upgrade the remainder of your term to a Family Membership.

With is promo you mean? We really don't need the upgrade since it's only 2 of us and you can bring 1 guest to events with your regular Gold Membership so not sure I want to pay extra (even if it's just a small amount) for something we won't use. Like I said, I don't think we'll go to many events unless we plan a vacation around one of the event locations.

I'm pretty sure the only difference between Family and regular membership is that you're allowed to bring up to 3 guests to events. All other benefits are exactly the same.

I was debating using this promo myself just to get the pin set they're giving out for this year when you become a Gold Member (different gift each year) but I'm not sure it's worth the $65 plus the shipping charge (about $8 to $12 I think) just to get an extra set of pins.

The shipping charges are quite high. However, doesn't hurt to try if they will give complimentary upgrade to Fsmily Mwmbership for the remaining 8 months. Did you pay full price for Gold?

Is this active now? I've tried but it's not working for me. Also, is this promo code eligible on gifting it for another person?

Yes, it is BF sale. Unsure about gifting though.
