IMO, only buy a computer when I ABSOLUTELY need it, because prices are always falling and processors are getting faster. So you get more for your money. I would buy a system with the fastest processor I can afford.


I use passmark to gauge relative ooomph of a processor...

Nope. For this price you should get an i7-9700 and a rtx 2060 to be considered a deal. A great deal would be with rtx 2070 for 1k1
