I have one of these and love it. I bought the GB40 2 years ago and used it many times to jump my dead 2008 5.7L V8 Toyota Tundra and my wife's 2015 V6 Toyota Highlander. I just bought another one to keep one in each car.

One tip, for people who don't read instructions. If your battery is so dead, the unit will not detect a battery and it will not work. You will have to bypass the safety feature and you have to hold down the exclamation point for a few seconds and you will hear a beep and the lights will flash letting you know you are in that mode. Now, you can jump off a completely dead super low voltage battery. I was able to jump off my dead Tundra that sat in the freezing cold for days.

Not a good pack. Weaker than even the less expensive china made options.

Comprehensive review of several options.

This probably will start your car but 1000A they claim is peak amps but they don't provide crank amp number. That's BS marketing and hard to support a company like that.

You're too fast! Bought it as soon as I got an alert from CCC. Beats the last deal by some cents.

I don't know if I really want this or not. I had it on my alerts for a while. Reason being I could clutch start my car. Just annoying pushing the car and jumping in. anyone with a manual get this?

It's a great device to keep in car/truck. Flashlight/strobe light for emergency at night , USB port and will jump dead battery. Charge maybe 3 times a year and no worries

Yes I know that. I can't see it as a good buy for someone that could just clutch kick start the car for free. Looking for inputs from other manual drivers.
I have a manual car with one I keep a noco in . Conditions have to be right to jump start using push and dump clutch no ? IDK peace of mind for $65 is worth it to me

Thanks. Was looking for a replacement for the crap Ravpower one (which they won't replace or do a thing about because it's outside the warranty period) that suffered from battery swell recently.

I have a Halo jumpstarter/battery pack w/ AC power that I got not too long ago too which I primarily got for the AC power aspect. But it's good to have a 'regular' jumpstarter/battery pack since we have two cars and can now just keep them in each car.

This exactly why I'd pay $20-$30 more for Quality vs roll the dice with Amazon deals

Ravpower was OK for me when I put it to use when initially getting their powerbanks, but long term durability they have shown to suck. I think Anker might be the best out of the "El Cheapo" brands. Ravpower just lost a customer after several back and forth emails. I noticed several other powerbanks I have with them have started crapping out. Then again, these power banks are probably 5+ years old... I guess most powerbanks shouldn't be expected to last a really long time. It's disappointing either way though.

You can start the car by your self with this, you don't need 2-3 people to push it up hill/through the snow ect...
