I don't understand the whole wait for the PS5 talk. It's a year out. It's going to be at least 500 bucks before tax. There will be hardly any games available and they'll all be 60+ bucks with no deals.
I plan on riding out this Pro for years until the PS5 has had a couple price drops and a decent library of games.
Also the Pro will hold its value. Sony doesn't blow out the pricing on their old consoles.

You can hack for sure
Yes you're absolutely right and good luck to anyone trying to find that bundle anywhere in stock so I just pulled the trigger on this because it's the next best deal on a pro that you're going to find at this point. Also I plan on listing my standard PS4 so the bottom line cost for the pro upgrade will only be about a hundred bucks and this is perfect for when new games like last of us 2 comes out in May
But at a $100 premium or so, it's certainly not a bad deal.
